In my work, the representation of a "landscape" is not the final goal. Instead, I use the vernacular of landscape painting as a method for exploring composition and color.
My work is about painting not landscape; about illusion not representation; about drawing not twigs and branches.

•First Night Hartford Parade Puppets, Coordinator. Design, construction and performance of giant “parade puppets” for annual community celebration. 1997- 2008.

•Group Visit Coordinator, Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, Hartford, Ct. Part-time position in the Martin Office of Museum Education coordinating and scheduling docent-guided tours for school and adult groups. August 1997- July 2000.
